Duties and Responsibilities: Visually check all gaps of members to be welded to ensure they are in accordance to the welding configuration details as stipulated in the applicable WPS and AFC Drawing. At the same time check all parent metal surfaces to bee wlded to avoid misalignment, bad workmanship. During fabrication check all weld profiles to ensure all undefiled and undercut remedied. Check applications of preheat on each parent metal as stipulated by the PQR and WPS or AFC Drawing to ensure the correct temperatures are properly adhered to. Prepare punchlist on outstanding work distributed them to each concerned area to ensure the remaining outstanding work are complete in time lye manner.
