This resulted in some unexpected realizations: for example, that the medium-term planning methodology we used needed to be replaced by a spatial planning methodology.
The PDPFP was thus approved via Joint SP, PDC and PPOC Resolution No. 1, series of 2010.
Because the PDPFP was crafted thru a participatory process, it was willingly adopted by the new administration and used as the basis for the ELA 2011-2013. In fact, Gov. Edgar Chatto and many of the current SP Members were participants in the PDPFP process.
Bohol is a prime eco-cultural tourism destination and a strong, balanced agriindustrial province, with a well-educated, God-loving and law-abiding citizenry, proud of their cultural heritage, enjoying a state of well-being and committed to sound environmental management.
