The web is an effective medium to project ideas and communicate information. Bajaj Auto, the Indian two wheeler manufacturing giant wanted to stay ahead of the competition in the online world.

Objective: Leading presence existed in areas of print, television and radio. What was missing, was a hand on the World Wide Web.. They wanted a clear direction in identifying new business possibilities over the web. Eventually, leading to new experiences for biking fans, irrespective of them being from the online or offline world. Outcome: An effective framework was conceptualized, visualized and designed. Four major activity circles were considered as the epicentre for the strategically designed system: Rural life | Urban spaces | Mobile users | Net Savvy groups. Additionally, an interface for an online biking community was also proposed.

Mapping ecological resources for a Sustainable lifestyle

(directed towards a Green Map System initiative) Environment related issues are being discussed everywhere, today. My love towards nature, coupled with peoples abstract notion of the environment, led me to see how information design can play an important role, in making people understand why we must protect, preserve and contribute towards the environment. Objective: Based on two phases: Phase I: How to make people aware regarding environment friendly aspects? Phase II: What can they do to live sustainable lifestyles? Outcome: A Green Map for Gandhinagar, India A map not like any usual one which lists only transportation routes but rather, one that highlights and propagates ways for environment friendly living.
