Welcome!

Thanks for your willingness to explore the concept of tabletop RPGs with us! For those who are unfamiliar, Dungeons & Dragons is a cooperative, creative storytelling experience. Game sessions are not competitive, but consist of a group of players who develop characters that work together toward common goals. Obstacles will need to overcome and personal objectives pursued as the characters advance and grow. D&D takes place in a generic fantasy setting populated by a variety of creatures and races. While there are certain rules pertaining to how conflicts can be resolved, almost anything is possible and can be incorporated into the evolving story. As the gamemaster, or GM, I want you to be just as invested and interested in the plot as I am. To that end, I've developed the following survey to gauge what the players want to see in the story we will be telling.

Storytelling Mechanics: The following are some of the most common tools and scenarios used
for developing the story. Rank each according to your personal interest.
