1. Course Description
On completion of this course, students will be able to learn and practice different tools to promote the use of English as a Second language , which have arisen with regard to the integration of new technologies into language teaching and apply the most appropriate ones to his/her teaching situation. The students will be familiarized with these technologies on order to empower his/her teaching practice.

2. Introduction
This course will be designed with the purpose of cover a broad range of activities which makes it difficult to describe as a single idea or simple research agenda. CALL has come to include of material design, technologies, pedagogical theories and modes of instructions. Materials for CALL can include those which are purpose-made for language learning and those which adapt existing computer- based materials, video and other materials.

3. Rationale
The internet, often abbreviated to the Net, has often been described as the biggest communications revolution since the advent of the printed book, yet up until not too long ago it was a secretive field enjoyed and jealously guarded by a few select individuals. These days, however, things have changed for the better and the Net is now a thriving community with many millions of people exchanging information, ideas and opinions. The development of easier connections, more user-friendly software and cheaper access has opened up the information superhighway to everyone, from young children at home and at school to professionals in all fields and walks of life.

4. Objectives
General objective
Integrate effectively technological tools in the daily teaching practice in order to energize the teaching learning environment.

Specific objectives
To evaluate the different tools technology offers in order to integrate them into the teaching practice. To design technology based activities that enhance language learning.
