Project Details : Title: Synthesis of BENZOPYRONE DERIVATIVES and their ANTI-BACTERIAL ACTIVITY Description: The aim is to synthesis the benzopyrone derivatives by reacting the benzopyrone nucleus with thiourea, urea, p-chloro benzaldehyde and nitro benzaldehyde respectively and to verify the compounds by checking their melting points and functional groups. To screen the anti bacterial activity of the synthesized compounds against gram positive and gram negative micro-organisms.
