SARAH GALLOWAY Kingstons 6-foot-1 center led the Tigers in scoring and rebounding, averaging a double-double with 10.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. She also averaged 2.1 blocked shots a game. She added a baby hook shot to her repertoire. HHH ALEX GARCIA Playing both point and shooting guard for Highland, the senior improved in every aspect of her game in leading the team to the Section 9, Class B title. She led the Huskies in scoring (12.5), 3-pointers (33), steals (4.0) and assists (3.1). HHH KATE SHULTS Coleman Catholics top defender and point guard became an dependable offensive threat. Despite bothered by an elbow injury that affected her foul shooting in the postseason, she averaged 8.8 points and led the team in steals (4.2) and assists (3.3). HHH REGINA STEELE Ellenvilles standout center finished with 1,103 career points. Steele found a way around double- and tripleteam defenses to average 22 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks a game. Steele, who will play JULIANNE WILKINSON at Sullivan next year, had The sophomore guard was five triple-doubles in leading Ellenville to the Class B a sensation in her first full season with Red Hook. She final. led the Raiders in scoring HHH (17.0), hitting double figures in 20 of 22 games. Playing in only half a game, she connected for 31 points against Ellenville.
