Upcoming Deadlines Honors Student Advisory Council President Application April 11th
the end of the semester approaches, we would like to bring a few items to mind. First, applications are now available for the Honors Club President position (see page 4). Applications are due by Wednesday, April 11th. Following this deadline, applications will be reviewed by the Honors Student Advisory Council, and interviews will be scheduled with candidates for the position. The new Club President will be announced at the End of Year Celebration. The End of Year of Year Celebration will be held on Thursday, April 19th 4p-6p at the Chancellors House. This Monday night the Honors Floor will be putting on a program for students to learn how to write a successful resume. Contact Shelby Holsapple or Steven Barton for more information on this program.

Senior in the Spotlight EMILY HARRIS Emily Harris is from Billings, Montana, and is graduating with a degree in Psychology, minoring in Creative Writing. Emily has been distinguished with the MSUB Ivy Guard, Editors Choice Award in The Rook, and was nominated this year to become a Board Member for the National Collegiate Honors Council. Attending the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in 2010 when it was held in Missoula led to Emilys presentation at that conference in 2011 and 2012. This year, Emily was also a member of the Honors Student Advisory Council. Emily will also be married on June 3rd, to Orrin Feddes. Congratulations on your accomplishments Emily!

Last Lecture
Thank you to Tami Haaland who presented Past into Future: A Few Notes for the Journey, on Thursday, March 15th. The presentation was both moving and informative as Haaland shared the memories, art, and poetry of her life. We appreciate the support of those who were able to attend this successful event.
Asking is the beginning of receiving. Make sure you dont go to the ocean with a teaspoon. At least take a bucket so the kids wont laugh at you. ~ Jim Rohn
National Conference for Undergraduate Research The Crucible Comes to Alberta Bair Theatre
Seniors Steven Barton and Emily Harris represented Montana State University Billings this past weekend and the National Conference for Undergraduate Research, which was held in Ogden, Utah. Steven presented his research on TALIF, and Emily a piece on poetry. Congratulations to both on being able to take this opportunity to present research at a National level!
