Microsoft Apps for Symbian Belle

Everything you need for a mobile office

Apps that make your work more mobile

Nokia and Microsoft continue to strengthen their global alliance with the Microsoft Apps suite software upgrade for Symbian smartphones. The Microsoft Apps suite contains a set of powerful business applications, designed to help your business stay connected and increase productivity whilst on the go. With this upgrade, IT is able to use a Microsoft System Centre device management tool with Symbian smartphones, allowing remote management of security and installation of company software and certificates for secure company access. Furthermore, push email, and calendar and contacts synchronization is already available for a wide range of Nokia Symbian smartphones. With this integrated office experience in your Nokia smartphone you can provide your employees with a mobile solution to their everyday business needs.

Upgrading your Symbian

The Symbian Belle user interface comes with redesigned live widgets, six customizable home screens and notifications all in one place, allowing instant access to everything you need at a touch of the screen. The Symbian also provides one of the most comprehensive Microsoft offerings in the market. The Microsoft Apps suite is designed and optimized for Nokia devices and is available via Software Update to all Symbian Belle smartphone users. The suite is easy to install over the air directly from your device and comes with a setup wizard to help you configure your on-premises and in the cloud accounts of Exchange, Lync and SharePoint, allowing the upgrade to integrate seamlessly into your existing business infrastructure. Nokia continues to invest in the Symbian user experience by introducing new user interface, new features and functionalities for an improved business performance. Symbian Belle is the latest in a series of updates that began with Symbian Anna and will continue into 2012. While Symbian Anna made working on your mobile more productive by providing business-grade security, faster page loading and easier touchscreen typing, the Symbian Belle upgrade enhances your mobile office experience even further. Symbian Belle provides the most seamless and intuitive operating system so far with Nokia Symbian smartphones. And, with the Microsoft Apps update and device support until 2016 you can be assured your business has effective productivity tools at your hands.
