APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
i. Applications can be downloaded from HRD Website (Please note to use the current Web-page application). An officer who wishes to apply for a particular programme should download the application form, complete and forward it to his/her HDD to complete the Recommendation Cage and e-mail same to HRD through his/her e-mail only.* ii. All instructions in Accessing/Downloading/Completing and Forwarding of all applications have been sent to all Depts. through Web Circular No.1. iii. Heads of Depts. should forward such applications forwarded by officers with his/her recommendation to HRD - E-mail: hrd.training@cbsl.lk as given in the instructions.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 20 April 2012 (Before 4.00 p.m.)


NOTE: Heads of Depts. are kindly requested to bring the contents of this circular to the notice of all relevant staff officers in their Depts. They may in consultation with the Internal Training Committee recommend officer/s for nomination. However, all applications received should be forwarded through e-mail as given in (iii) above. All Officers who have access to Local Area Network could access this Circular through the Human Resources Dept. Web-site. (http://cbis/trd/ ) and then under the Icon: Foreign - New Programmes. The successful nominee, on resumption of duty is required to submit a detailed report within seven (07) days in triplicate to enable HRD to submit same to Governor and then to the Ministry of Finance which is a requirement. Selected summary reports will be displayed in the Website under Trainees Reports Please note that no other e-mail channel be used by HDDs to send their recommendations (Sgd. K M Abeykoon) for Director/Human Resources
