Beacon Rock
Last summer, St. Philip families hiked beautiful Wahclella Falls as part of a Columbia Gorge outing. This year, organizers are looking across the river at Beacon Rock, a favorite Washington Gorge hike and a nearby day Park to run around and have lunch. There are nice views and while it is a climb, it's not a death march. It is about 45 minutes from downtown and $5 day-use fee. Check the following site: http://gorgefriends.smugmug.com/Landscapes/Bea con-Rock/3800653_bFnvnM We're looking at June 3 after the 10:30 Liturgy and would like to poll the interest of parishioners. Please respond to let us know if this is of interest to you. If we get a critical mass, we'll book it.
