Introduction: (1 page of report). Initially summarise the company Reason for trading/business Brief explanation of the company overall group operating structure Company profile Customer owned orientation of the company Company ethics.

Main Body: Outline companys objectives Analyse the companys operating procedures Critically analyse how these procedures obtain the companys objectives. Main part... Understand the processes by which the company implements its own processes. Apply academic theoretical models to show the above such as: The four vs model The 4 stages of operational contribution model Operations strategy and operations management/ the relationship between The alignment process 4 Ps of marketing/7 ps Etc etc (see lectures/books). Key areas to think off: Product movements (ordering/stocking) Customer operations (key in customer facing retail) Management/staff structures Outsourcing (external suppliers AMS etc) Key to apply theory to demonstrate real life situations.

Evaluation: Conclude and evaluate how effectively the company manages its operations. Suggest ways in which these operations can be improved/applied more effectively What extent these would benefit the company.
