1 Objective This Request for Proposal (RFP) is made for the purpose of in-house training MS SQL Server 2008 DBA Tasks. 2 About SQL Station SQL Station has been at the forefront of technological education across the world through offline and online trainings since 2003. Installing and Configuring SQL Server 2008

Day 3

Creating/Altering tables Constraints User defined types Write SELECT queries to retrieve data. Group and summarize data by using Transact-SQL. Join data from multiple tables. Write queries that retrieve and modify data by using subqueries. Modify data in tables.

Configure SQL Server instances. This objective may include but is not limited to: sp_configure

Configure SQL Server services. Configuration manager; Surface Area Tool Configure additional SQL Server components. This objective may include but is not limited to: SQL Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), replication

Day 4

Indexes Views Write SELECT queries to retrieve data. Group and summarize data by using Transact-SQL.

Implement database mail. Configure full-text indexing.
