I am sure many people who have had illnesses and surgery come to realize during recovery and afterwards how fragile, vulnerable and dependant we are on one another. I certainly have realized this. I appreciate deeply my connection and relationship with all of you, as your Pastor, priest and fellow human being. I thank you. I know even more how much I need you. I hope you always feel my love and Gods love for you through me. My recovery has been slow but good. Thanks again for all of your prayers. Please continue to pray for Fr. Thomson as he continues to recover from cancer. We both appreciate the caring and compassion each of you has shown us. We pray for all of you; for your health, strength and for peace in each of your lives. In the Lords Love, Fr. Jim Curtin

All Parishes In the Diocese of Joliet Are Urged to Observe World Day of Prayer for Vocations Fr. Burke Masters, vocation director of the Diocese of Joliet, suggests that Every vocational call comes from Gods love for us. When we encounter Gods love in a powerful way it requires a response from us. How am I going to spend my life serving and loving God and my neighbor? What are the gifts and talents that God has given me? Please join the whole Church today and every day in praying for holy vocations. We are all called to be holy. We are all called to love God and our neighbor. What is my particular response?
