Experience (Years / 2-3 years Nature) Experience in Marketing, Communication & Brand building Experience in Indian Social enterprise sector is mandatory Experience in event management is mandatory Exposure to innovations (desirable) Exposure to PR is mandatory Knowledge Branding, concept marketing, Business Acumen and Experience in markets for the poor Skills Networking, Communication, PR, Analytical skills, Decision Making and Team building Good communication skills Fluency in English Working knowledge in Tamil is an added advantage Achievement orientation - High energy, Drive to perform, Desire to excel, Search for recognition & visibility Strong persuasion skills, delegation skills & interpersonal skills Ability to drive performance Commitment, Integrity, Professionalism and alignment to mission Job Description

Competencies

Organizational Support in budget preparation and developing the annual work plan for Branding, Marketing and Communications. Identify and build Villgro's portfolio by analyzing and recommending new product opportunities through media. Identify, build and manage vendors/ service providers related to marketing & communications. Monitor implementation of brand and communication plans across programmes.

Events Plan and Organize yearly Villgro Events Summit - A Networking and investment platform for Investors, Start up Entrepreneurs and Innovators. Wantrapreneur A business plan competition to identify innovative product companies and build the investment pipeline. Innohub A platform to launch new product innovations Villgro Awards - Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards

Communications Developing and implementing the communication strategy. Planning and executing reach out plans for various initiatives and events. Production of marketing collaterals. Developing the Annual Report for Villgro Innovations Foundation working with internal stakeholders. Maintenance of website, online tools and digital media. Designing and running Social Media reach out and other below the line marketing activities. Manage quarterly Villgro E-Newsletter.

PR & Media Relations Developing and implementing PR plans - building public image and awareness with key stakeholders and networking with journalists for Villgro and Incubatees. Preparing media information dockets, case material for stories, briefs for releases. Spokesperson to the media.
