This document covers the installation and use of this theme and will help guide you through the personalization process. Please read this document thoroughly if you are experiencing any difficulties. 1. Installation
1.1 FTP Uploading
Once youve produced your website, found a Host and registered a Domain Name, you need to transfer your site files on to your webspace (hosts server) so people can at view your latest and greatest. This procedure is called uploading your website, and involves the transfer of files via FTP. The File Transfer Protocol allows computers to exchange files, upload or download, via the Internet. Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the root folder on your website server.

2. Filterable Portfolio
2.1 Portfolio Images
To change the portfolio images in your filterable gallery, all you need to do is to load in your photos into the ...images/portfolio folder. Name them in sequence as work1.jpg all the way up to twelve images (as currently designed).

2.2 Portfolio Categories

To change the categories, where it has the quotes after data-tags, change these to your own. For example, the filter Web Design...change this to your own category and for multiple filters, list them seperately with a comma in-between. This is found in the index. html file, lines: _____. This is just the one category, to change the rest, look right below in the code.

2.3 Rollover Text

To change the header/mini-description in each portfolio peice, just go into the index.html file and between lines 80 -130, edit the text inside the <span></span> tags.

3. Logo & Colors
3.1 Logo
Just upload your logo image into the __________ file location and adjust the size/dimensions as needed via the css.

3.2 Tagline
To modify/add in your custom tagline, located under your logo. Locate the text within the index.html file in line 43. Just modify it to your liking.

3.3 Colors
To edit the colors in the theme, open the styles.css file and adjust the colors accordingly.

3.4 Alternate Backgrounds

Changing the background is rather simple. All you need to do is ensure that you upload the background image that you like in the ...images folder and rename it bg.jpg. Dont forget to rename it!

4. Links
4.1 Setting your quick links
To edit the quick links, just go into the index.html file and locate the code on lines: 35-40 and change them in there.

4.1 Footer Links

In the footer of the theme, you will notice a facebook/twitter link section to the right, and a copyright/extra link section to the left. To change these, just go to index.html, at line 138.

5. Overlay Content
5.1 Editing
Locate, in the index.html file, lines 49-52 to change the text for the about section in the drop down overlay.

5.2 Person Image

Drop the image of your self, resized to 86 x 86 px, and named avatar.jpg in the atlas/image folder location, and youre all set.

6. Contact Form
6.1 Recipient Address
To change the email address the contact form sends emails to, please first open the send_mail.php file. Then find the code where it states $webmaster_email= EMAIL@ emailaddress.com...just change the email address to your own. (Line 6)
