3.1 FINDINGS 73% are male and 27% are female who buy the vehicles. 40% of respondents belong to the age group 20-30 and 25% of the respondents belong to the age group of above 40. Based on occupation 55% are students and 17% are government employees. 49% respondents family income are around 10001-20000. 48% of the respondents prefer Apache rather than other models of TVS. 48% of the respondents are getting mileage around 46-50kmph and 22% are getting around 51-55kmph. 52% respondents feel that the maintenance cost comes around to Rs 1001-2000 per year. 47% of the respondents feel that the performance of the gear system is moderate and 46% feel that it is good. 47% feel that comfort is the reason for purchasing and others feel that style,mileage are other reasons for purchasing. 67% feel that the cost of the vehicle is moderate. 37% are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the performance,32% are satisfied. 31% feel that the pick up problem is low and 27% feel that it is neutral. 34% feel that the petrol consumption is low and 23% feel that it is neutral. 34% feel that the battery problem is high and 23% are neutral in their decisions. 32% feel that the engine problem is low and 8% feel that it is very high. 27% feel that the tyre gripness problem is high. 31% feel that the shock absorber problem is low when compared to other vehicles.

3.2 SUGGESTIONS

1. The company should maintain the awareness among TVS vehicle users. 2. The company should have maintain the long riding and maintenance cost. It should reduce the cost and increase pick-up.. 3. Vehicle should be made available of reasonable price. 4. Provide more stylish TVS vehicle. 5. Produce the vehicle at international standard and average technology.

3.3 CONCLUSION

This study was conducted in and around Sanatorium with a broad objective of consumer preference of two wheelers in TVS vehicle for this purpose. 100 customers were selected and obtained the various responses based on the questionnaire method. The data was collected and consolidated using simple percentage method, charts, tables were used for representation to achieve the objective of the study. By and large it was found that most of the consumers are choose on TVS vehicles because of its low maintenance cost, mileage, cost of the vehicle consumption. Its maintained in awareness of the vehicles and improving the satisfaction level and advertisement. and petrol
