Evaluator Comments

Technology comitee is in place, but has not meet in 2 years.

Our budget comes from the money allocated to the Air Force from the DOD; the Air Force then decides DODDS portion from there.

Most assessments are given by pen and pencil, but some teachers use services such as QUIA out of their own pockets. Many teachers have resources through curricular purchases, but most do not implement them. Technology is available, but most teachers don't use ot or are afraid to use it. Not used purposefully by students.

We don't have a lot of involvement from outside the school as far as from parents, but do get support from the base installation.

Some teachers take advantage of training opportunities, when offered. Training in technology is very scarce, almost nonexistant.

Whole school is wired in every room, every teacher has a computer and most classrooms have 4-5 computers. District and school has access to data

Decisions are made 9,000 miles away by beaurucrats with not much input from local areas.
