Academic Information
- Language of Instruction Most lectures and courses are being held in German, but we also offer a growing number of courses being held in English. Please refer to our English course list: http://www.auslandsamt.tu-berlin.de/auslandsamt/ menue/betreuung_internationaler_austauschstudierender/studium/parameter/en/. - Course Catalogue Please click this link https://www.lsf.zuv.tu-berlin.de/ for an updated list of all courses offered at TU Berlin. If you want information about courses that are not published yet, please refer to the lists of previous semesters as the courses remain relatively similar from winter to winter and from summer to summer semesters. - Restrictions on Courses Almost all courses can be attended by exchange students. In general you do not have to register online for a course (this is usually done at the first date of the course). For some master programs, students need to have an appropriate academic and/or professional background in order to get admission to the courses, e.g. in architecture or business administration. - Tuition Costs Tuition fees will be paid to your home institution. At TU Berlin you only have to cover a small administration fee and the expenses for public transportation and living expenses (see Living Expenses) - Our Website www.auslandsamt.tu-berlin.dee German Language Courses A four-week German intensive course is offered for approx. 90 Euro before the start of each semester in the beginning of September and March. The courses are intended for exchange students who already have a basic knowledge of at least 100-240 hours of German classes. For those of you having a very basic knowledge of the German language, the institute Culturen im Dialog is offering a four-week long intensive German course in cooperation with TU Berlin for 180 Euro. Please check out this site: www.cid-berlin.de You will also have the possibility to attend German courses during the semester. Further information can be found at www.zems.tu-berlin.de
