Schedule for the meetings of School Boards, STAC and Academic Council
A minimum of 2 School Boards, 2 STAC and 2 ACs are to be held per year as per the provisions of the Statutes. Note: Atleast 3 days notice should be given to the STAC meeting and at least fourteen days notice should be given to the AC meeting. Keeping these minimum requirements in view, the dates have been proposed. Note:
1. As the conducting of exams and evaluation is the responsibility of the teachers, no teacher is allowed to avail the vacation without submitting the semester results of the subject/s taught and exams were conducted and evaluated by the teacher concerned to the Dean/Head. If some Schools/Departments/Centres would like to have more days for the end semester exams, such Schools/Departments/Centres can have it writing to CE as per the existing practice to obtain the approval of the Vice-Chancellor. The summer semester will be from 11th May 14th July which includes the schedule of examinations of the summer semester. Even though the total teaching days are 155, these will be more than 180 if the teaching days of summer semester are also added.
