WE CREATE HISTORY! Our nation is one in a million. Here, people are rich but the country is poor.

And where else have you heard of seven failures in electing a PM? The elections should have been kept going on for next 15-20 years. I had feared the 1234th round would be the last one because by then both candidates would have died of old age(after all they were so young!). That way Nepal could have set a record that no other nation in this world would dare to break. Also, Nepal has proved itself in the international arena, by legalizing gay marriage and allowing daughters to inherit parental properties. Now lets legalize Marijuana, afterall it is really good for health and our farmers can earn good revenues too. The so-called Shiva-Bhakta Sadhus voices should also be adressed in the constitution (if it will ever be drafted). Meanwhile, the former caretaker of Nepal was honored the Star of the year & lifetime achievement award in the whole of Asia. Claps to Madhav Kumar Nepal! Truly deserved! Poor Makunay he was so busy addressing the countrys political dreadlock that he had little time to attend the Tiger summit and rushed to his daughters wedding and then back to airport, jetting off to Cambodia for a meeting. Maybe he had planned to be back with a Cambodian to lead this nation. Although poor he, failed! What competence do you need to become PM by the way? Maybe we should internationalize the post of PM. We borrow one from each country of the world, starting from A and on to Z. So, if Simpson wants to be PM and he is Swish, he will have to wait a while, maybe in another life. Unless of course he chooses to be British then he could have a chance in this life. If we are never going to let the existing leaders to work then this would probably be the only choice. The agreements signed in paper always lead to year long disagreements and political turmoil. The only consensus is that there is no possibility of a consensus now. The CIAA (Commission for Investigation for Abuse of Authority) on the other hand, is doing such a commendable work that people are no more bribed Rs.2 for using public toilets that are maintained so clean. The frightened politicians must have started converting their assets to gold and stuffing it in their a****. No wonder there is such high demand for gold! I suggest the CIAA must start off with stool tests as their new strategy. Although Nepal is progressing, a few problems are still there. But why keep complaining? Its time to be optimistic(when else will you make use of those value education classes from School?). Besides, you think its only Nepal? No ways, what Nepal does today, the world does tomorrow. Given our skills in making hay while the sun shines, I have come up with ideas of utilizing the load shedding hours. For a change, let us look at the bright side of load shedding. Now we have a unique opportunity of having dinner by candle light every night. Courtesy to Nepal Electricity Authority for adding color to our lives! And if the romantic setting is not enough for nights only, you can have candlelit breakfasts, lunches, brunches, teas and midnight snacks too. Besides that, one can easily enhance his creativity by painting using phosphorescent and learning braille is another way to utilize loadshedding. ? Is the absence of electricity a bad thing? I personally do not think so. After all, what with the global warming and all the environment change taking place, I think we Nepalese people are doing our bit by reducing our carbon emissions. Take your pick, infinite supply of power failure is at your service. And then the frequent bandhs-our tradition, prevents vehicles from plying on the roads.....wuhu we are setting great examples for the westeners! Anyone not getting enough water supply? No worries! You can easily find some large, clean puddle of water in the street to wash things in. As for cleanliness, I'm sure people throw away left over deodorant or

antiperspirant, soap, and other such toiletries (nepalese are so hygiene conscious!)to where you can care of the bathing problem. You don't need to clean your hair, in fact, doing so would rid yourself of the natural oils that build up over time and actually hold your hair style in place. So, Lets make new Nepal with all these newer ideas. Well I cant, we can! -Samikshya siwakoti
