Dear Mr. Koh.
Subject : Technical Points - MSCP MEP Coordination Drawings
Upon our reviewing the MEP coordination drawings with partner TGIEM engineers. we
have noticed that the technical points mentioned below. are to be considered and
incorporated for the system operational integrity in future.
1) Generator room ventilation system to be studied by specialist.
2) Fuel system arrangements for generators including bulk tank and daily tank with
associated piping. fuel transfer pumps & accessories to be considered.
3) FM200 occupied rooms to be provided with necessary motorized dampers. fire
curtains & motorized louvers on doors & windows.
4) Fire fighting pump control panels for electrical. diesel. jockey and Chilled water
pump control panels for primary & secondary pumps to be located at
accessible areas. in line with CDD requirements.
5) VFD control panel is shown for the primary chilled water pumps. but on the
electrical schematic drawing. they are constant speed pumps. as per HV AC
equipment schedule drawings.
6) MV panel room cable trench for generator cables are not coordinated with the
structural for bottom cable entry. prior to raft foundation casting. It could be
solved by the top entry. where the cables 7x1 cx800mm (fire rated) are to be
raised from the trench.
7) Changes of electrical loads for all mechanical equipments after material
submittals approvals are to be considered in the electrical panels.
