all may not be possible so try to do what you can, and Allah will help with the rest. An Ideal Mother 1st Month -Recite Sura Yasin and Surah Saffat on Thursdays and Fridays and blow on your stomach -Eat sweet apple in the mornings -Eat one Pomegranate on Friday Morning before breakfast -Perform prayers in prime time if possible -Recite adhan and Iqamah before salaah with your hand on your tummy

2nd Month -Recite Surah Mulk on Thursdays and Fridays -Recite the following salawaat 140 times on Thursday and 100 times on Fridays with hands on your tummy ALLAHUMMAH SALLE ALLA MUHAMMADIN WA- ALE MUHAMAD WA AJJIL FARAJAHUM WA AHLIK ADUWWUHUM WALAN ADAAHUM MINAL JINNI WAL INSI MINAL AWWALEENA WAL AKHAREEN. -Try to eat meat, sweet apples and drink milk every week 3rd month -On Thursdays and Fridays recite Sura Ale-Imran and salawaat ( the above one if you have time) 140 times -With your hand on your tummy recite salawaat before each prayer -Eat wheat, meat and fat free milk every week -Eat honey in the morning 4th Month -Recite Surah Dahr on Thursday and Fridays -Recite Surah Qadr in any rakaats in your salaah -Recite Surah Qadr and Surah Kawthar and salawaat on your stomach then say: RABBANA HAB LANA MIN AZAWWJINA WA DHURRIATINA QURRATA AYUN WAJA ALNA LIL MUTTAQEENA IMAMA. -Recite 7 times ASTAGFIRULLAHA RABBI WATU BU ILLAIK -After all prayers recite salawat 140 times -Eat sweet apple, honey and pomegranate any time -Try to do Namaaz e- shab from now on. If you cant wake up then try and do qadhaa of it 5th month -Recite Surah Fath on Thursdays and Fridays -Recite Surah Nasr ( iza ja nasrullah..) in any one of the daily prayers -After salaah rub khake-shafaa ( Mohr) on your stomach -Eat dates in the morning -Eat olives and sweet apples -As much as possible from now on try and adhan and Iqamah with your hands on your tummy

before salaah. 6th month -Recite Surah Wakiah on Thursdays and Fridays -In Maghrib or Isha prayers recite Surah Teen ( wat-teeni..) -After salaah rub the Mohr ( khake-shafaa) on your tummy -After breakfast eat figs and olives -Eat bone marrow at one meal if possible -Avoid fatty foods 7th month -Be punctual in the night prayers and recite adhan and Iqamah before prayers -Recite Surah nahl on Mondays -Recite Surah yaseen and mulk on Thursdays and Fridays -Recite Surah Tawheed and Surah qadr in daily prayers -Recite salawaat 140 times -Try to eat watermelon in small amounts after each meal but do not have water before or after eating it -Eat turnip once in this month 8th month -Sat- Recite Surah qadr 10 times after Fajr -Sun- Recite Surah teen twice after Fajr -Monday- Recite Surah yaseen once after Fajr -Tuesday- Recite Surah furqan once after Fajr -Wed- Surah dahr once after Fajr -Thursday- Surah Muhammad once after Fajr -Friday- Surah saffat once after Fajr -Eat sweet yoghurt and honey often -On Friday eat pomegranate in breakfast 9th month -Try not to eat spices -Eat dates -Slaughter a goat for the safety of our 12th imam (a.s.) -Recite Surah Asr and Surah waz-zariaat either in Zohr or Asr salaah -Recite Surah hajj on Thursdays -Recite Surah fatir on Fridays -Go for short walks -Try not to look at a lot of pictures in this month Important notes: -For brave and strong child drink milk -For a well-behaved and good looking child eat watermelon -Recite Surah Asr- for a contented child.

For safe and easy delivery -Our 6th imam (a.s.) has said that for the safety of the mother and child, write Surah qadr with saffron, wash it into a glass and ask the mother to drink that water -Write Surah haqq and keep it with the mother For easy delivery, recite Surah qadr during labour -During pregnancy the mother should keep Surah wakiah with her -Recite Surah inshiqaq after daily prayers and also at time of delivery

Dua to ease labor: It is mentioned that Hazrat Fatima (radiyallahu anha) reports that when it was time for her to deliver her child, "Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) sent Umme Salma (radiyallahu anha) and Hazrat Zainab (radiyallahu anha) to me with the instruction that they read Aayatul Kursi, surah Al-Falaq and An-naas and the following verse for easy delivery: Surah Al-A'raf (7:54,55): Inna rabbakumullaahul ladhiy khalaqas samaawaati wal ardha fiy sittati ayyaamin thummastawaa alal arsh, yughshiyl llaylan nahaara wa yatlubuhoo hatheethan was shamsa wal qamara wan nujooma musakh-kharaatim bi amrihi. Alaa lahul khalqu wal amru, tabaaraka llaahu rabbul aalameen. Ud'oo rabbakum tadharru'an wa khufyatan, innahoo laa yuhibbul mu'tadeen." recite "ihidinas sirathal musthakeem " as tasbee as many times as possible... this helps in normal delivary... insha allah recite surah mariyam from the 7th month this also helps for normal delivary For the safety of child and mother during pregnancy, and no miscarriage, write a portion of verse 64 of Yusuf and verse 8 of ar Rad with saffron and bind it as a tawid around the belly or abdomen of the mother.
