Siddhirganj 2X120MW Peaking Power Plant has two Local Control Room (LCR) and One Central Control Room (CCR). My duty mainly in CCR monitoring condition of the plant through HMI. Take necessary action if any abnormal alarm comes. To record data of Generator and Turbine from HMI. To accumulate data from HMI and store this. I also collect data of GBC and IA compressor from DCS (MAX DNA). My duty to visit field every two hours interval. I also communicate with Gas supplier ensure to maintain sufficient pressure. As I am working as a shift engineer in operation division, I am responsible for start-up & shutdown of all machineries of the Siddhirganj 2X120MW Peaking Power Plant (Gas Turbine Power Plant) which includes Instruments Air Compressor plant, Gas Booster Compressor Plant, Lube Oil plant for the Compressor, Gas Turbine (Frame- 9E DNL-1, MARK-VI control), Water treatment plant, Oil centrifuging plant, Cooling water module, Emergency Diesel Engine Plant, Fire Fighting System, Central Air Conditioning System, Gas filtering System, Transformer Charging & its Back Charging, Synchronization with the Grid, Generator Loading & Unloading as per Grid requirement & reporting to the higher management about the plant status. Presently (from April2012) I am involved to Prepare Monthly Operating Data (MOD), Recording Energy Generation, Export- Import Data logging and Tripping & Event Record. Also, I was involved in maintenance of various types Lathe, Shaper, Planner, Grinder, and Milling Machines when it was necessary to maintenance. I was also involved in training section.
