Mandatory Software
Required software will be downloaded and installed automatically The user will see a visual notice in the lower right side of the screen before any software is installed
The user may click on the notice to install the software right away or wait until the count down expires for SCCM to install the software

Optional Software
Software may also be installed via the SCCM Schlumberger Software Catalog. (See next slide) When a new program is available the user will see a pop up letting them know they can install it.

Download
Most packages will need to downloaded before they can be installed. The user will see the Program Download Status page as it downloads. Check the Run program automatically when download completes box if you want the install to start as soon as the download finishes. If you do not check the box, you will be prompted to install the package when the download is complete.

Post Download
When the download is complete, SCCM verifies that all files downloaded correctly.
If the user did not check the Run program automatically when download completes box, they will need to press Run to install the program.

Installation
The install will then launch and should run without the users intervention. Note, some installs are completely silent and the user will not see a status.
