April 2002 March 2012 DRS Defense Solutions, LLC. www.drs-ds.com DRS Defense Solutions, LLC is a Proxy company, created when Finmeccanica (www.finmeccanicausa.com) acquired DRS Technologies, Inc. in 2008. DRS Technologies acquired Engineered Support Services in 2006, which acquired Spacelink International in 2005. 2002 - Recruited by Spacelink International as HR Representative to double the HR team and focus on generalist responsibilities, including benefits, timesheets & payroll, policies and procedures, employee relations, file audit. Also took on assistant FSO role, responsible for entering EPSQ data, tracking clearance awards, and processing visit requests. Key Results: Implemented first ever affirmative action plan. Wrote and released first company Employee Handbook and Policy Manual. Released online timesheet system to all employees, including deployed personnel, via Deltek Costpoint. Completed HR file audit, including benefits, personnel file, and I-9 compliance. Completed EEO-1 & Vets100 reporting. 2006 Took on the role of HR Manager, Systems & Programs when ESSI acquired Spacelink International and DRS Technologies acquired ESSI. In this role, my main responsibilities included implementing all HR systems, benefits and retention programs. Spacelink

International merged with two other divisions to create DRS Technical Services. Key Results: Merged data from three separate companies to implement ADP HRIS/Payroll platform. Implemented health & welfare benefits from ESSI, and then DRS in successive years for entire employee population, approximately 1200. Implemented DRS online performance management program and trained all personnel. 2007 Promoted to Director, Human Resources for DRS Technical Services, supporting 2 lines of business and staff, approximately 1000 employees. Supervised HR Generalist and HR Coordinator. Key Results: Team member responsible for configuring and implementing Talent Management system (Success Factors) to include Performance Management, Development and Succession Planning modules. Deployed and trained all employees on a new performance management process and system, which increased employee compliance in all phases of the program. Successfully responded to all regulatory and compliance audits and investigations, including EEO-1, Vets100 reporting. Created a consolidated affirmative action plan. Successfully petitioned OFCCP to use Functional AAP for 5 year term. Successfully responded to four EEOC charges, which were all dismissed. Developed a performance improvement plan process that led to uniformity in the performance counseling process. Redesigned and launched a new-hire orientation program to include HR, IT, Trade Compliance, Payroll, and Security information. 2008 Took on additional role of Director, Human Resources for DRS Defense Solutions, a Proxy company created due to the Finmeccanica acquisition of DRS Technologies. In this role my responsibilities included employee relations for corporate staff, including executive management, succession planning, staff development, and performance management. Key Results: Led team of HR & IT employees to create corporate Share Point intranet site. Managed Performance Management process for all Defense Solutions (3500 employees). Assisted SVP, HR with Succession Planning for Executive Level Management & train division level HR Directors on the process. Successfully responded to all regulatory and compliance audits and investigations, including EEO-1, Vets100 reporting and Affirmative Action Planning. Developed and implemented all HR policies and procedures. Advised managers on discipline, performance management, termination and counseling of employees at all levels, including executive management. 2011 While maintaining HRD role for Defense Solutions, promoted to Director, Training & Development, leaving the HRD role at DRS Technical Services. The focus of this position was to configure & implement a learning management system. Key Results: Led a team of 5 to configure, implement, and maintain Learning Management System (GeoMestro/Sum Total).

Worked with Executive Leadership to identify training needs and facilitated training with outside consultants. Developed training for employees, managers and instructors on use of LMS. Served as internal consultant for division HR Directors. Collected data and created reports for Board of Directors showing students progress towards meeting established guidelines.
