Dear Family, I am so thankful in this month of May for our Blessed Mother and all the ways through prayer that she has interceded with the Lord for multiple blessings upon our church. Our wonderful restoration project is well on its way. I am also so thankful to the Pioneer Committee for the monies raised last year. The money raised provided new smart boards for the school classrooms, scholarships for the children and families in need of tuition assistance, increase of our endowment fund, and a new science lab in the former library space. I ask God to bless all of you and ask for Marys protection and love. Thank you to the St. Dennis School grade 7 parents and students who organized Club Dennis last weekend; the Argianas, Blaszkiewicz, Boyer, Bussey, Diamond, Dombrowski, Kilmartin, Lagger, Renas, Voights, and Wennlund families. I want to give a special thanks to the incredible Aiello family who cooked a delightful meal, the Swaw family for desserts and the many school families that volunteered at the event. Thank you to everyone who purchased a $100 raffle ticket. We sold 420 tickets. The winners were: Grand prize- Bob Borgstrom Jr. of McGrath Office Equipment, 2nd - Ron Jones, 3rd - Gus Graber, 4th - Art & Jennifer Carpenter, Joell Jameson, 5th- Joel Catausan, Sullivan fam., 6th - John & Jennifer Renas, Bussey fam., Joan Sullivan, Jean Carroll, Catherine Hoffman. Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass

The Diocese of Joliet will hold its Thirtyfourth Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet. If you are celebrating either your 25th or 50th anniversary this year, please contact the Parish Office so that we may submit your name to the Diocese for a formal invitation.

ST. DENNIS FUNDRAISER SUCCESS CONTINUES

Do you have old rosaries, chaplets, beads or Holy Medals? The beads are used to make rosaries for those beginning their journey to wholeness through healing prayer, as well as to encourage people to pray the rosary. Holy medals are also repurposed and will provide another avenue of prayer.
