Bug Fixes & Changes

Resolves an issue where records could be dropped when large row counts should be displayed on the Validate or Export screen when using Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g as a back end data store. Resolves the Out of Storage Space error that could occur in the following cases: Map process being run when a large portion of the source data is mapped by rules that use Script based mapping or wildcard based mapping such as 1* to 1* or a* to a* while processing a large data file (100,000 plus rows). The * to * wildcard mapping is not affected by this issue. Validation process being run on an application that has a large number of unique records (100,000 plus unique records). Export process being run on an application that has a large number of unique records (100,000 plus unique records). Logic process being run that returns a new record for each existing record when the process is being run on an application that has a large number of unique records (100,000 plus unique records).

Resolves an issue where a large number of accounts are being caught by the auto map correct feature and causing a deadlock on the database. The following security issues have been corrected. SQL injection of input parameters - If a user has sophisticated network and database knowledge, he/she can potentially alter queries issued to the database. Directory traversal - A Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management user can import files from any folder on the server instead of being restricted to their current locations folder. This user could also change the server location entirely to load files from another server. Location change without access - An FDM user can potentially modify their Point of View to any location, allowing the user to modify, create and delete mappings for the new location. User credentials - Although not used by Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, there is a custom attribute entitled Target System Password in which administrators could potentially store access credentials for another application. Database errors are no longer displayed to end users - Errors generated by the by the Oracle or SQL database are logged and a generic data access error is displayed on the screen instead of the actual error message.

Resolved a problem with FDM applications created using Oracle 10g. Oracle 10g was unable to update the questions after they were created for Certification/Assessment Questions that have text fields containing 900 or more characters.
