The constitution was read by the members. From the preamble, they talked about the autonomy of th e student council. Autonomy is where the decisions and right of the students are not compromised by the decisions made by the administration. Ayesha talked about the anti-Budget cut and nationalistic perspective of the stu dent council. The nationalist education was connected and related to the Human Ec ology. It applied to the community-based approach that learning and giving servi ce to the community, as said by Alelie and Tim. Stand of USC and CSCs being neutra l in decisions? Students are biased--to the interest of the students. Regarding the article referring to the potential USC and CSC candidates, the iss ue about Ynik Antes constituent rights for being USC Chairperson was tackled. Ale lie also talked about the role of CEB on the elections. When it comes to the college student council, roles of each council member were explained and elaborated. Enzo, being the newly-elected College Representative, should be visible every council meeting despite its main role which is to repres ent CHE in the USC. Alelie run down the votes casted. Fred Jotojot withdrew his position, and Denise , being the 11th councilor, will be taking Jotojots position. Important dates to remember where: start of classes-June 13, start of enrollment -June 4, start of assisted enlistment-June 5-7, Systemone-2-9, 12nn, end of regJune 21. After the constitution reading, everyone is asked to tell his/her expectations t o him/herself and to his/her fellow council members, as well as problems to be e ncountered while being in the council.
