Powers is the former owner of "Certified Mediations" which is no longer in business. She was a Kansas licensed "Social Worker" which expired in 2010. Powers was appointed to the Kansas State Supreme Court as an "approved mediator" and works in Johnson County, KS as a "Family Court Services Officer". Her salary in 2010 was $35,857.93. Powers also teaches a class called "Higher Ground" for parents that are in "conflict".
