Since 1997 Vredestein has been collaborating intensively with the world-famous Italian design consultancy, Giugiaro Design. Giorgetto and his son and successor Fabrizio Giugiaro have had a huge impact on both the Vredestein brand and the Vredestein products. Both parties are now reaping the benefits of this unique brand alliance. The Vredestein brand, partly thanks to its association with Giugiaro, has developed into a European premium niche brand, with safety and design as its most important characteristics. The Ultrac Sessanta is one of Vredesteins aces in the Ultra High Performance (UHP) segment. The Sessanta is based on the strong points of the Ultrac series and has been optimised even further to give very good steering and handling characteristics. Giugiaro Design has given the Ultrac Sessanta a revolutionary design, with a line pattern that clearly shows that performance comes first. The name Sessanta refers to sixty years of Vredesteins existence in Enschede. In tribute to Vredesteins unique collaborative partnership with Giugiaro Design, sixty is written in Italian: Sessanta.

Giugiaro Design is responsible for designing the tread and the sidewall of the Vredestein Ultra High Performance tyres. Of course the Vredestein engineers have a decisive say, since a tyre is essentially a safety product, but at Vredestein safety and design go hand in hand. The Vredestein Ultrac SUV Sessanta is an uncompromising SUV tyre for the Ultra High Performance (UHP) segment. Based on the strong points of the Ultrac Sessanta, the Ultrac SUV Sessanta is equipped with an extra wide tread. This ensures better road holding and greater stability, whilst maintaining a high level of comfort. The Ultrac SUV Sessanta features a double rayon carcass layer and a strong belt. These give the tyre a higher load capacity, making it ideal for the heavier SUV cars. Tread pattern and sidewall have been created by Giugiaro Design giving the tyre a unique, contemporary look.

The Ultrac Cento is a tyre for the premium segment. In this tyre Vredestein gives the safety aspects top priority, combined with ecologically sound characteristics. The Ultrac Cento is a stylish and quiet lightweight summer tyre which guarantees comfort and exceptional performance on both dry and wet roads. The name Cento is a reference to the 100th anniversary of the Vredestein brands existence. The Sportrac 3 stands out in the area of water dispersal and braking power. The profile developed by Giugiaro Design gives sports cars an even more stylish look. The robust, wide shoulders and 3D V-shaped tread blocks in the centre of the tread give outstanding performance on bends. The rounded footprint, with its even surface pressure, helps reduce braking distance, and improve traction, handling characteristics and water dispersion. The High Silica Solution V tread compound has been improved to give optimum braking power and low rolling resistance.

Especially for the summer H segment, Vredestein introduces the Hi-Trac 2. The design is characterised by various V-shaped angled grooves, which in combination with the two sturdy circumferential grooves ensure fast water dispersal. The Hi-Trac 2 has been given an improved tyre construction and a new tread compound. Partly thanks to these, the tyre has an even shorter braking distance and lower fuel consumption. The tyre also gives maximum grip on wet and winding roads. The Hi-Trac 2 features a Vredestein concept which has previously been used successfully: the Off Centre Directional Profile. The rounded tips of the central tread blocks, combined with the Off Centre Directional Profile, make the Hi-Trac 2 a low noise tyre. It also fulfils the stringent European ("-SW") requirements (wet grip and noise).

The T-Trac is an ideal all-round tyre thanks to a number of remarkable characteristics in the area of safety and reliability. This can largely be attributed to its Safety Tracer Action Ring: a complete, flexible ring around the tyre, created by two deep parallel circumferential grooves. These guarantee maximum driving stability whilst dramatically reducing the chances of aquaplaning. For 65-series and under, the T-Trac tread compound contains silica, offering enhanced grip and a lower rolling resistance.

The Sprint Classic from Vredestein completes the classic image of your classic car. The Sprint Classic was specially developed for enthusiasts with an eye for detail and design. While the unique tyre profile and contour remain unchanged, a stylish sidewall marking has been added. However, beneath this classic exterior lies the most advanced technology. Tyres with VRFC technology have stronger sides and a weighted bead construction. This ensures that the RunFlat fits tightly around the rim and allows the tyre to continue carrying the vehicle. In case of pressure loss, Vredestein RunFlat tyres will still be able to undertake driving speeds of up to 50 mph (80 km/h). In accordance with the relevant standards, they can be driven for a distance of up to 50 miles (80 kilometres) with maximum load.
