Finding places in a building

Pretend that you are the receptionist in the information counter. Practice asking for a giving directions with a friend on how to get to places mentioned bellow. Use the floor plan of Tanjungpura Hospital given bellow. Be sure to use direct/indirect questions as well as imperative form in asking and giving directions. For example : Q : Excuse me. Can you tell me where the nurses training department is? A : Take the elevator to the basement. Turn left as you come out of the elevator. Then turn right immediatly. The nurse department is at the end of the hall, on the left side. 1) Maternity ward 2) Physical therapy 3) Doctors lounge 4) Dispensary 5) Administration 6) Laboratory 7) Ortophedic 8) Mushola 9) Operating room 10) Dentistry clinic 11) Pediatrics 12) Cafeteria Direct/indirect questions 1) Q : Excuse me, could you tell me where the maternity ward is? A : Take the elevator to the second floor. Turn left as you come out of the elevator.

Then turn right immediately. Go down the hall. The maternity ward is at the end of the hall. Theres between doctors lounge and operating room.

2) Q : Excuse me. Can you tell me where the physical therapy is? A : Take the elevator to the basement. Turn left as you come out of the elevator and then go straight a head. Turn right immediately. The physical therapy is at the end of the hall on the right side.

3) Q : Pardon me, where i can find the doctors lounge?

A : Take the elevator to the second floor. Turn left as you come out of the elevator. And then go straight ahead. Turn right. The doctors lounge is at the end hall beside X-ray room. 4) Q : Could you tell me where the dispensary room? A : Its behind the information counter, then you can turn right and go down. The dispensary room is beside administration room.

5) Q : Could you tell me where the administration room? A : Its behind the information counter. From this you can turn left and go down. The administration room is beside the dispensary room.

6) Q : May i know where the laboratory is? 2

A : take the elevator to the second floor. Turn left as you come out of the elevator then turn right. The laboratory is in front of The X-ray room.

7) Q : Excuse me, How do i get to Orthopedic room?

A : Turn right. Go straight ahead turn left.The orthopedic room is the first door on the left.

8) Q : Can you tell me where the mushola is?

A : Take the elevator to the basement. Turn left as you come out of the elevator. Its next to the upstair.

9) Q : Excuse me, can you tell me where the operating room is?

A : Its take the elevator to the second floor. Then turn left immediately. After turn right the operating room is beside the laboratory room.

10) Q : How do i get to dentistry clinic? A : Go straight ahead. Then turn left you will pass the orthopedic and psychiatry clinic. Dentistry clinic its on your left.

11)Q : Could you tell me where the pediatrics is?

A : From this you can turn right and go down. Then turn left. The pediatrics room is

in your left. Its between dermatology and Opthalmology clinic.

12) Q : Excuse me, may i know where the cafetaria is? A : Take the elevator to the basement. Turn left as you come out of the elevator. Then turn right. The cafetaria its the first door on the left.
