Detailed Information about Degree Programmes: Bachelor of Business Administration: Full-time, Kingston Available at: Highlights Elective courses permit students to tailor the BBA to suit their own personal objectives. For example, a student with an entrepreneurial flair wishing to launch a travel business could take electives in entrepreneurship, along with courses pertaining to cultural or linguistic subject areas. In addition, upon completion of the BBA, students will be in a position to pursue a number of financial, accounting and management designations. Students who wish to obtain the CGA (Certified General Accountant) will have completed up to Level 3 of the designation post graduation. Based on elective choices, students may also obtain a number of transfer credits towards CA (Certified Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountants), CSI (Canadian Securities Institute) and PMP (Project Management Professional) designations. Disney Internship Programme with Florida State University Imagine an education with a diploma from St. Lawrence College, a certificate from Florida State University, and academic training experience from Walt Disney Resort near Orlando, Florida! St. Lawrence College and Florida State University have formed a partnership that provides an international opportunity for St. Lawrence College students in select programs. St. Lawrence College students can expect: An unparalleled learning experience at an American university with one of the top hospitality schools in the United States. Earn either a Certificate in Service Leadership, or a Certificate in Intercultural Communication. A six-month paid academic training experience at Walt Disney World Resort, a world-renowned company. The academic training experience is paid and there are a variety of roles available. The opportunity to make friends from around the world while living in a comfortable community. Programme Highlights Students start their journey at Florida State University, where they will begin an intensive course in either Service Leadership or Intercultural Communication. After ten days on the beautiful Tallahassee Florida campus, students will head to Orlando where they will participate in an academic training experience at the Walt Disney World Resort! Academic course-work will continue while students participate in the Disney International College Program. Participants then have the opportunity to apply classroom theory to real-world environment through their role at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are a variety of roles available and the experience is paid. Students live in company-sponsored, fully-furnished apartments located near the Walt Disney World Resort. A bus system provides students with transportation to work, classes, and shopping. The program is open to students in Business, Hospitality, and General Arts and Science.
