Sweaty hands, blurred vision, a trembling body, and unsteady breathing. That's what he had right now.

He loved that man so much to the point that it hurt him. He had to have him. He loved that man more than anyone else could. They were perfect together. Or, at least, that's what he told himself. But it was true, wasn't it?

"Cain, this is Leo. He'll be taking are of you from now on," said the king. The two young boys stared at each other. The little prince took note of the boy's simple clothing. Leo gave his new master a small, gentle smile. Cain only glared at him, disliking commoners. Cain turned to his father. "What were you thinking when you brought this garbage home?"

Leo adjusted his master's tie, making sure that he looked as perfect as possible for the royal ball. Cain, with his blank expression, grabbed Leo's wrist. He examined his servant with curiousity. "You're shaking. Why?" Leo smiled nervously. "It's nothing, my prince. Please don't worry about me." Cain rolled his eyes. He stepped back and buttoned the cuffs of his sleeves. He hated how his dear servant couldn't be honest with him after all of these years.

"I'm sorry," he cried, "I'm so sorry." Cain stared at the crying adolescent before him. He didn't bother to ask why Leo was apologizing. He already knew why. Even if he didn't care much for Leo, he still paid close attention to him.

Leo stood at his master's door, his lips in a straight line. He was uncomfortable with the woman laying so close to Cain. He hated the vibes they were giving off. He hated how his master paid attention to her, and not him. It should have been Leo to touch his master's skin. It should have been Leo to kiss Cain's abused lips. It should have been Leo to run his fingers over Cain's scars. Cain glanced at his servant and smirked. He honestly had no care for the woman. All he wanted was to see Leo fume with jealousy. He wanted to break

the young boy that he held dear. Cain knew how Leo felt about him and he wouldn't have it. It was strictly forbidden and he must punish the scrawny boy for even allowing such feelings to emerge. It disgusted Cain to know that such common filth looked at him in such a way. It made him want to hurl. He felt the woman's hand run along the inside of his thigh. Cain's breath hitched when she got too close to his groin. Leo was shaking, his fists curled to the point of where his knuckles turned white. "Excuse me, young master," Leo spoke nervously, "but it's important that you make an appearance at the ball, sir." Cain and the woman glanced at Leo with apathy. A sigh escaped Cain's thin lips. "I suppose you're right. If you'll excuse me, my lady." Leo followed his master out the door, silently walking down the long hall. He was careful to stay at least three feet away from him. "You don't like her, do you?" asked Cain. Leo looked up at the back of Cain's head nervously. He bit his lip and immediately looked down, fearing that the young master would turn to look at him. "I have no opinion of her, my prince." Cain stopped in his tracks to smirk. "Forget that you're my servant for a moment and speak your mind about her. She's beautiful, isn't she?" "Sir-" "Isn't she?" he emphasized. "No, sir. I think she's disgusting. I don't like how she looks at you. She doesn't deserve to touch you. It should... It should be me that gives you that attention." Cain turned and gave his servant a simple glare. "And what gives you that right, Leo?" His golden eyes widened. Wasn't it obvious? His master was teasing him. He honestly didn't care about him or how he felt, did he? "Well? I'm waiting." "Because I love you," he shouted, "I'm deeply in love with you and I hate to see you with all of these women when it's me that knows what you want. I know how to please you, sir. Please. Please, I... I..." he began to trail off. Leo couldn't speak anymore. Not with Cain staring at him with such disappointment.

And then he snapped. Leo pinned Cain to the wall and forced his lips on him. He demanded entrance into the prince's bittersweet mouth. But Cain wouldn't allow it. He immediately shoved Leo away, looking at him with disgust. "You're fired. Leave immediately. If I dare see you around here again, so help me, I will have you killed on the spot," hissed Cain, letting out a low growl as he breathed out in a poor attempt to gather his composure. Leo stepped back in shock. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen for him. He couldn't take the rejection. The idea of never seeing Cain seemed impossible to him. His eyes darted around as he tried to reason with his own thoughts. "What are you waiting for?" asked Cain. "I said leave." Leo pushed him out the tall glass window. If he couldn't have him then no one else could, right? He looked out the window and saw a pool of blood arond his former master's body. He forgot they were on the top story of the grand mansion. Leo stared in horror. He didn't mean to kill the only man he loved. He fell to his knees and screamed.
