DENR Pabor sa Binatilyo Nalunod Sanitary Landfill San Jacinto-Isang labing-dalawang taon na
Dagupan City-Pabor ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) na magkaroon ng Sanitary Landfill ang Lungsod ng Dagupan. Dahil sa suliranin sa mga basura, inimungkahi ni Reymundo Gayo, Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer ng nasabing ahensya na mahalaga na magkaroon ng Sanitary Landfill sa lungsod. Inimungkahi ni Gayo na maaring makituwang sa ibang bayan na mayroon sariling Sanitary Landfill ang Lungsod ng Dagupan dahil umano sa kakulangan ng tamang lugar para pagtapunan ng mga basura. Estudyante ng City High nahulian ng patalim

Sa kabila ng masusing pagmamanman ng mga pulis at mga opisyales ng Dagupan City National High School ay muntik pa rin sila na malusotan ng isang 2nd year na estudyante na itatago natin sa pangalan na Jose. Mismong ang Guidance Counselor ng nasabing paaralan ang nakahuli na may itinatagong ice pick at batuta ang naturang estudyante at kaagad na dinala ito sa opisina ng punong-guro. Dito nagkaroon ng pag-uusap at napagalitan ang mag-aaral. Depensa ni Jose na may kaaway siya at kailangan niyang protektahan ang kanyang sarili kaya siya nagdala ng ice-pick at batuta. Napagalaman din na dati ng may record si Jose sanhi ng mananapak niya ng isang nakatatandang estudyante. Nanawagan si Erly Datario, punong-guro ng nasabing paaralan sa mga magulang na makipagtulungan ang mga ito sa pamamagitan sa pag-aaruga sa kanilang anak. Kailangan malaman ng mga magulang ang mga nagaganap sa kapaligiran ng mga ito at kung sinu-sino ang kanilang mga kaibigan, mungkahi ni Datario. (TEM)
