Reformer is a person who brings reform in the society. Prophet (saw) was the greatest reformer in the world. Without him the world would not have changed so much uptill now. He showed the way of life to the humanity. ii. What was the result of Hazrat Muhammad (saw) teachings on the people of Arabia? Ans. When the prophet (saw) came he made the people of Arabia civilized. He advised both the Muslim women and men to get education. He disliked arrogance and pride. He declared equality of the rights of women and men. iii. What condition was imposed on the prisoners of the battle of Badr? Ans. In the battle of Badr, Some non-muslims were caught as prisoners. Hazrat Muhammad (saw) imposed a condition on the educated non-muslim prisoners to teach the children of the muslims. On this condition they would get freedom. This incident shows the love of Prophet (saw) towards education and learning. iv.What was the condition of women before the advent of Islam? Ans. Before the advent of Islam women were treated in a very inhumane manner most of the girls were burnt alive or buried in the ground in their childhood. Islam emphasized the equality of the rights of women and men. Prophet Mohammed (saw) gave women the inheritance in property and wealth. v.What was the system introduced by Hazrat Mohammed (saw) to check injustice? Ans. Before Islam the Arabs used force to settle their disputes. Prophet (saw) introduced a judicial procedure to check cruelty and injustice. Judges were appointed to settle individual or party matters. In short, laws were introduced for the promotion of an ideal family and social set up. For the first time in history, the savage Arabs were introduced to the rules of politeness and civilized. words and deeds are the sure ways of winning Gods grace. The best way please God is to wipe out the tears of those in grief and sorrow. We can serve humanity through kind words of comfort, by feeding the hungry and by cheering the depressed. Little deeds of Kindness, Little words of Love, Make this world and Eden Like the Heaven above Q2. Why should we be kind to animals and birds? Do they serve is? If so in what ways? Ans. Animals serve us in many ways. The horse and mule as well as donkey are used for transporting goods through the use of carts. Cows and goats give us milk on which the small children feed. We should also be kind to birds. Birds add beauty to the nature and also amuse with their beauty as well as lifestyle. Q3. Write and incident that you may have read about kindness to animals from the life of Hazrat Mohammed (saw)? Ans. Abdullah Bin Masud (R.A) narrates, While we were on the journey in the company of Hazrat Mohammed (saw), we saw two young doves sitting in their nest. We caught the young birds. When their mother returned to the nest she began to fly wildly around the nest. When Hazrat (saw) arrived at the spot and came to know the incident, he (saw) said, If some one of you has caught the young birds, he must release them at once to comfort the mother bird.
