WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?

Who is Jesus Christ? We shall know Jesus Christ and who He claims to be through His own words as recorded in the book by His apostle John. These are testimonies written by John revealed and taught to him by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We know that we live in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. 1 John 4:13-15

JESUS AND GOD HIS FATHER

Jesus came from and was sent by God His Father Jesus existed with God the Father in the beginning. That is the reason why He said that He came from God and the Father has sent Him. He was the Word and the Word was God.
Jn 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jn 1:2 He was with God in the beginning. Jn 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. Jn 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
Jn 6:46

No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.
Jn 6:57

Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
Jn 8:42

Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me.

Jesus came down from Heaven Jesus made it clear that He came down from heaven and entered the world. He was from above and not from this world. And He went back to the Father in heaven.
Jn 3:13

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven the Son of Man.
Jn 6:38

For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
Jn 6:42

They said, Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, I came down from heaven?
Jn 8:23

But he continued, You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
Jn 14:28

You heard me say, I am going away and I am coming back to you. If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
Jn 16:10

in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;
Jn 16:28

I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father. And has come in the flesh The Christ from eternity took the human form and dwelt among us. We are to test every spirit and declarations. Anyone who denies that Jesus came down from heaven from the Father and has come in the flesh is the spirit of the antichrist. Before He came into the flesh He was in heaven with God the Father.
Jn 1:14

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
1Jn 4:1

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1Jn 4:2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 1Jn 4:3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1Jn 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 3

1Jn 4:5

They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 1Jn 4:6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. Jesus has seen God the Father and tells us what He has seen and heard Jesus has seen the Father because He was with God in the beginning. What He knew and learned from the Father he revealed unto us. This is what He is claiming to be.
Jn 6:46

No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.
Jn 3:32

He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

Jn 8:19

Then they asked him, Where is your father? You do not know me or my Father, Jesus replied. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.
Jn 8:26

I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is reliable, and what I have heard from him I tell the world. Jn 8:27 They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father.
Jn 8:28

So Jesus said, When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.
Jn 8:38

I am telling you what I have seen in the Fathers presence, and you do what you have heard from your father.
Jn 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his masters business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. The Father gave Jesus a work to finish The Christ was sent for a mission for humanity. He has a work to finish from the Father. He has to die on the cross and resurrect from the dead for our sins and provide eternal life.
Jn 5:36

I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me.

Jn 1:29

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Jn 3:14

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, Jn 3:15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jn 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Jn 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of Gods one and only Son.
Jn 10:15

just as the Father knows me and I know the Fatherand I lay down my life for the sheep. Jn 10:17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my lifeonly to take it up again.
Jn 10:18

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.
Jn 12:27

Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Jn 12:28 Father, glorify your name! Then a voice came from heaven, I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.
Jn 18:11

Jesus commanded Peter, Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?
Jn 12:49

For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. Jn 12:50 I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.
Jn 6:32

Jesus said to them, I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.
Jn 13:1

It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
Jn 14:6

Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jn 14:31

but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. The Father has placed everything in His Sons hands Everything was placed in the hands of the Son of God because His Father loves Him and He came from Him.
Jn 3:35

The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.

Jn 13:3

Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; Jesus is equal with God the Father All that the Father has belongs to the Son. He is equal with the Father. He can not do anything without He sees the Father is doing. We must honor the Son the same as we honor the Father.
Jn 16:15

All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
Jn 5:18

For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. Jn 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. Jn 5:20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these. Jn 5:21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. Jn 5:22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, Jn 5:23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
Jn 5:26

For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. Jn 5:27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. The Father testified of His Son Jesus was not alone in His testimony. God His Father testified who He was. The miracles He did in His Fathers name spoke for Him.

Jn 5:37

And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,
Jn 8:18

I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent

me.
Jn 10:25

Jesus answered, I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Fathers name speak for me, Jn 10:32 but Jesus said to them, I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me? Jn 10:38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.
Jn 14:11

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. Jn 15:24 If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.
Jn 6:27

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
Jn 15:26

When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. The Father and the Son worked together The Father and the Son are one. They work together.
Jn 5:17

Jesus said to them, My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.
Jn 8:16

But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me.
Jn 10:29

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Fathers hand. Jn 10:30 I and the Father are one.
Jn 15:1

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

The Father draws man to His Son The Father guides and teaches the one who shall come to His Son and the Son will raise him up in the last day. God knows our hearts. 7

Jn 6:37

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
Jn 6:44

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Jn 6:45

It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by God. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.
Jn 6:65

He went on to say, This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him.

The Father honors and glorifies Gods Son Jesus is the Son of God. The Father loves the Son and He honors and glorifies Him with the glory Jesus had before the world began.
Jn 8:49

I am not possessed by a demon, said Jesus, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. Jn 8:53 Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are? Jn 8:54 Jesus replied, If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. Jn 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.
Jn 10:32

but Jesus said to them, I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me? Jn 10:36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, I am Gods Son? Jn 10:37 Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. Jn 10:38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.
Jn 11:41

So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me. Jn 11:42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me. Jn 11:43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, Lazarus, come out!
Jn 17:1

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. Jn 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. 8

Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him. Jesus is the exact representation if the invisible God. We have seen the Father because of His Son. The Father is with Him.
Jn 14:7

If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Jn 14:8 Philip said, Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us. Jn 14:9 Jesus answered: Dont you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the Father? Jn 14:10 Dont you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Jn 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
Jn 16:32

But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. Serve and follow the Son you serve God and shall be loved by God If we serve and follow the Son we are serving God His Father. Rejecting the Son is rejecting God. If we believe the Son the Father will love us. If we obey His Son we honor God. And the Father through Christ will give us what we ask.
Jn 12:26

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
Jn 15:23 Jn 15:24

He who hates me hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. Jn 16:3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.
Jn 16:25

Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. Jn 16:26 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. Jn 16:27 No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. Jn 16:28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.

Jn 14:12

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. Jn 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. Jn 14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. Jn 14:15 If you love me, you will obey what I command. Jn 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever Jn 14:17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. Jn 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Jn 14:19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. Jn 14:20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Jn 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.
Jn 14:23

Jesus replied, If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Jn 14:24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
Jn 14:26

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Jn 15:9

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

Jn 15:16

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruitfruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
Jn 16:23

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
Jn 17:11

I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your namethe name you gave meso that they may be one as we are one. Jn 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
Jn 17:24

Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Jn 17:25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 10

Jn 20:17

Jesus said, Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.
Jn 20:19

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you! Jn 20:20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Jn 20:21 Again Jesus said, Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.

THE TRUE NATURE OF CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD & THE SON OF MAN GOD TAKING THE FORM OF MAN
Let us make a biblical investigation of the nature of Jesus Christ. Those who do not believe on the Deity of Christ conclude that Jesus is man because of the verses that say He is a man or man therefore He has no other nature. His existence began when He was born through a virgin named Mary through the power of the Most High. Jesus is man because He thirst, hunger, slept, and die. God can never thirst or hunger or die. God is a spirit and Jesus has flesh and bones. God is not man. But the question is, Can God take the form of a man? They fail to understand Jesus was not man in the beginning. He became man when He was sent by the Father to earth for our redemption. He needed a human body for His mission on earth and that body is offered as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and the precious blood unblemished and unspotted for our cleansing.

1PE 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 1PE 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 11

God is a spirit and a spirit can not have a body or a blood. So Christ the Son of God has to take the form of a man. Now we should establish that the Christ, the Son of the Living God really existed before He took the form of a man. We agree that there are verses of Scriptures saying that Jesus is a man its simply because He took its form. But why is He also called the Son of God and the Jews in fact killed Him for this title. Let's know what the word of God say concerning Jesus as the Son of God.

LET'S ESTABLISH THE TRUTH FROM THE BEGINNING 1. ORIGIN OF THE CHRIST MIC 5:2 But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity. Christs origin or goings forth is from eternity.

2. EXISTED BEFORE ALL THINGS COL 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. JN 1:15 John * testified about Him and cried out, saying, This was He of whom I said, He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me. 1Co 10:2 They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 1Co 10:3 They all ate the same spiritual food 1Co 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. JN 8:58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am. 12

1Pe 1:11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.

3. EVIDENCED BY CHRIST CREATING EVERYTHING JN 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. JN 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. COL 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things have been created through Him and for Him. HEB 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. PR 30:4 Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His sons name? Surely you know!

4. THE SON OF GOD FROM THE BEGINNING HEB 1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU? And again, I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME? HEB 1:6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM. Ps 2:1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? Ps 2:2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One. Ps 2:3 Let us break their chains, 13

Ps 2:7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD? He said to me, You are my Son; today I have become your Father. Ps 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him

Lk 1:26 In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, Lk 1:27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgins name was Mary. Lk 1:28 The angel went to her and said, Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you. Lk 1:29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. Lk 1:30 But the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. Lk 1:31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. Lk 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, Lk 1:33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end. Lk 1:34 How will this be, Mary asked the angel, since I am a virgin? Lk 1:35 The angel answered, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

MT 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. MT 3:17And a voice from heaven said, This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.

MT 22:41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question: MT 22:42 What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He? They *said to Him, The son of David. MT 22:43 He *said to them, Then how does David in the Spirit call Him Lord, 14

saying, MT 22:44 THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET? MT 22:45 If David then calls Him Lord, how is He his son? Mt 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, Who do people say the Son of Man is? Mt 16:14 They replied, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets. Mt 16:15 But what about you? he asked. Who do you say I am? Mt 16:16 Simon Peter answered, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Mt 16:17 Jesus replied, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. Mt 26:62 Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you? Mt 26:63 But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God. Mt 26:64 Yes, it is as you say,Jesus replied. But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven. Mt 26:65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. Mt 26:66 What do you think? He is worthy of death, they answered.

5. HE CAME FROM GOD AND WAS SENT BY GOD RO 8:3 For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, Heb 10:5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; HEB 1:6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM.

6. HOW DID GOD BRING HIS SON TO EARTH 15

BY TAKING THE FORM OF A MAN FROM BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD

Phil 2:6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, Phil 2:7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Phil 2:8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. JN 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

THE WORD OF GOD REFERS TO THE SON OF GOD, ITS CHRIST'S NAME: REV 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

7. JESUS CHRIST CONFIRMED HE CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN John 3:13 13"NO ONE HAS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN, BUT HE WHO DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN: THE SON OF MAN. John 3:31-32 31"HE WHO COMES FROM ABOVE IS ABOVE ALL, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth HE WHO COMES FROM HEAVEN IS ABOVE ALL. 32"WHAT HE HAS SEEN AND HEARD, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. John 6:38 38"For I HAVE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who SENT Me. John 6:62, 64a 62"What then if you see the Son of Man ASCENDING TO WHERE HE WAS BEFORE? 16

John 8:23-25 23And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I AM FROM ABOVE; you are of this world, I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD. 24"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for UNLESS YOU BELIEVE THAT I AM HE, you will die in your sins." 25So they were saying to Him, "Who are You?" Jesus said to them, "What have I been SAYING to you from the beginning? John 16:28-31 28 I CAME FORTH FROM THE FATHER AND HAVE COME INTO THE WORLD; I AM LEAVING THE WORLD AGAIN AND GOING TO THE FATHER. 29 His disciples said, Lo, NOW YOU ARE SPEAKING PLAINLY and are not using a figure of speech. 30 Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for anyone to question You; BY THIS WE BELIEVE THAT YOU CAME FROM GOD. 31 Jesus answered them, DO YOU NOW BELIEVE?

8. JESUS IS THE ONLY SON OF GOD Gal 4:4 But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, Jn 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Believers are only given the right to become sons of God, adopted sons through Christ. JN 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, JN 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Eph 1:5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will

9. HE NEEDED A HUMAN BODY For sacrificial offering of His body for our sins He 10:5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; He 10:10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. He 10:12but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, 1 Tim 2:6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

For cleansing us with His unblemished blood 1PE 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 1PE 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. Eph1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

To reconcile us to God through the death of His fleshy body Col 1:22yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach-To condemn sin in the flesh Rom 8:3For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, To resurrect from the dead for our justification Rom 4:25 He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. 10. CHRIST THEREFORE IS THE SON OF GOD WITH THE SAME NATURE WITH HIS FATHER GOD AND HE TOOK THE FORM OF A MAN Phil 2:6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, Phil 2:7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jn 1:2 He was with God in the beginning. Jn 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. Jn 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. Jn 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. Jn 1:9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. Jn 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. Jn 1:11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Jn 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. 1Jn 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touchedthis we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 19

1Jn 1:2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 1Jn 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 1Jn 1:4 We write this to make our joy complete.

GOD THE FATHER DECLARED WHO HIS SON IS: GOD AND LORD
Heb 1:1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, Heb 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. Heb 1:3 The Son is the radiance of Gods glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Heb 1:4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Heb 1:5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, You are my Son; today I have become your Father ? Or again, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son ? Heb 1:6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, Let all Gods angels worship him. Heb 1:7 In speaking of the angels he says, He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire. Heb 1:8 But about the Son he says, Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. Heb 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy. Heb 1:10 He also says, In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. Heb 1:11 They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. 20

Heb 1:12 You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end. Heb 1:13 To which of the angels did God ever say, Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet ?

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God and that through Him we might have eternal life and He shall come again as the King of kings and Lord of lords.
John 20:30-31 Jn 20:30 Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. Jn 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. 1 John 1:1-4 1Jn 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touchedthis we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 1 John 2:1-2 1Jn 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defenseJesus Christ, the Righteous One. 1Jn 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 3:7-9 1Jn 3:7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 1Jn 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devils work. 1Jn 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because Gods seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 21
