attitude should be positive

Short Story 2
There were twin brothers one brother used to hit his wife and children, he used to drink and had a criminal record but the second brother had a very happy family he never abused anyone was very happy with his family and had a great job. Once the lawyer sat with both and asked the first brother that why does he take drugs and abuse family?, He said what else he is supposed to do? His father did the same to us, he used to hit us and our mother and abuse us, that's why I am doing the same, then the lawyer asked the second brother that what makes you so happy

being with family, he said my father used to hit us and abuse us, so
I decided I should not do this ever to my family thats why I never hit anyone nor abuse.

The moral of the story is- Both had the same driving energy their

FATHER but one took it in a negative way and other in a positive

way. So we have to always keep thinking positive which will help to grow our personality and a positive attitude.

Story 3
Jerry was a kind of guy always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, if I were any better, I would be twins. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. One day I went up to him and asked him, How can you be so positive all the time?. Jerry replied Each morning I

wake up and say to myself, Jerry, you have two choices today. You can
choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood. I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.

Story (cont)
Several years later, I heard that jerry left the back door of the restaurant open one morning and was held up at gun point by three armed robbers. While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the combination. The robbers panicked and shot him. Luckily, Jerry was found relatively quickly and rushed to the local trauma center. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from

the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body.

I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins. I asked him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place. The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jerry replied. "Then, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or I could choose to die. I chose to live."

What is the moral of the story?

Positive thinking is the first step towards a happy life.

Attitude is a like the helm of a ship. It's a small thing that steers a
big thing.

VISUAZLIZATION

Visualization
Visualization refers to the practice of seeking to affect the outer world via changing one's thoughts. Visualization is a technique of using your imagination or thoughts to visualize specific behaviors or events occurring in one's life. The concept of visualization is thought to have surfaced in the United States in the 19th centurys New Thought Movement". This group promoted the ideas and concepts of positive thinking, the law of attraction, life forces, personal power, meditation and visualization. Buddhists use visualization as a way of achieving enlightenment, elite athletes use it to improve sports performance and everyday people can use

the power of visualization to create or obtain want they want in life (the
law of attraction) and the power of positive thinking.

Example:
Let's use a golfer for example. As the golfer prepares for a big tournament he (or she) will start visualizing about every aspect of the event. They will spend hours thinking (almost meditating) about each hole and how they are going to play it. They visualize standing at each tee box, fairway or green. They will play the course continuously in their head. In their mind they will think about which clubs they will use, they will smell the grass, feel the wind on their skin, hear the crowd cheering. They will use their imagination to envision sinking the winning putt, holding up the trophy etc. They have played the event over and over in their head, down to the smallest detail, so when it comes to the actual day of the event they are

more relaxed, have nerves under control and can clearly focus on their
game plan. To the golfer, it's seems like they've been there and done it all before because they have been visualizing.

Uses of Visualization:
Visualization can be used to reach goals Instead of imagining yourself where you want to be, doing what you want to do, you can imagine yourself taking the necessary steps to get there. You can use visualization for motivation to take those steps by visualizing the end result. Visualization is also used to relieve stress, pain and anxiety. It is used in weight loss programs. It has been used to improve relationships. Visualization can be used directly to create a positive attitude by imagining yourself facing a difficult situation or problem with a positive attitude, and seeing the actions and reactions of other people in your mind.

Practice Visualization
To practice visualization, simply find a quiet place where you can sit

comfortably and close your eyes. See yourself how you need to see
yourself for the visualization exercise, and try to make it as real as possible in your mind. Use all five senses - sound, smell, taste, sight, and touch. If you have problems visualizing without help, make audio tapes that will lead you through it, or purchase audio tapes that are designed to aid visualization.

Case Study(visualization)
Allan applied for a new job, but as his self-esteem was low, and he considered himself as a failure and unworthy of success, he was sure that he was not going to get the job. He had a negative attitude towards himself, and believed that the other applicants were better and more qualified than him. Allan manifested this attitude, due to his negative

past experiences with job interviews.

His mind was filled with negative thoughts and fears concerning the job for the whole week before the job interview. He was sure he would be rejected. On the day of the interview he got up late, and to his horror he discovered that the shirt he had planned to wear was dirty, and the other one needed ironing. As it was already too late, he went out wearing a shirt full of wrinkles.

Case Study(cont)
During the interview he was tense, displayed a negative attitude, worried about his shirt, and felt hungry because he did not have enough time to eat breakfast. All this distracted his mind and made it difficult for him to focus on the interview. His overall behavior made a bad impression, and consequently he materialized his fear and did not get the job. Jim applied for the same job too, but approached the matter in a different way. He was sure that he was going to get the job. During the week preceding the interview he often visualized himself making a good impression and getting the job. In the evening before the interview he prepared the clothes he was going to wear, and went to sleep a little earlier. On day of the interview he woke up earlier than usual, and had ample time to eat breakfast, and then to arrive to the interview before the scheduled time. He got the job because he made a good impression. He had also of course, the proper qualifications for the job, but so had Allan. What do we learn from these two stories? Is there any magic used?

Conclusion
No, it is all natural. When the attitude is positive, we enjoy pleasant

feelings and visualize what we really want to happen. This brings

brightness to the eyes, more energy and happiness. The whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even the health is affected in a beneficial way. We walk tall, our voice is more powerful, and our body language shows the way we feel.
