IFB Industries limited was founded in Kolkata in 1974 in collaboration with Heinrich Schmid AG of Switzerland by Mr. Bijon Nag, a technocrat entrepreneur having practical experience in Fine Blanking in Germany and Switzerland for many years.

Objective Of The Study


To know the various BTL activities driven by IFB , which they are using for increasing their sales.

To study the impact of BTL activities on customer.

To study the level of awareness of customers of Amritsar regarding the IFB products and their services.

Sampling Plan

Sampling Unit : It consist of employees.


Sampling Size: It refers to number of items taken for sample.100 respondents were taken for conducting sample. Sampling technique: Convenience sampling techniques was used to get the questionnaire filled.

Data Source :
( Primary data has been used in the present study ) Primary data The primary data are those which are collected a fresh and for the first time and thus happen to be original. Survey method was adopted for collecting primary data. Survey method is a systematic gathering of data from respondents through questionnaires. Tools of Presentation: Graphs and charts are used to present the data.

Limitations Of The Study

Although I have done sincere efforts to collect the relevant information, But no study complete in itself, however good it may be and every study has some limitations:Due to time and resources constraints, the surveys was conducted within the study of the city of Amritsar as such the study might not present a true picture of market. A small size of 100 respondents may not be representative of the universe.

The respondents bias might have crept in while filling the questionnaire.
The overall sample was restricted to the respondents because of limited sources. Some of the respondents of the survey are unwilling to share the informations. Scope of study is limited to Amritsar only because of limited time. So results of study may not be generalized.

Output may be inaccurate. As output only depend upon the respondent.
