Sahyog

- Waste Management Project

1/19/13

This project envisages the conversion of waste to wealth. T he household waste is taken to Sahaj Safai Kendras (S.S.K.) and Khad Banao Kendras (K.B.K.), which are established at various locations in the sectors. The collected waste is then segregated into recyclable material, organic and inorganic waste. The organic materials are converted into compost (including vermicompost with the help of earthworms).

Hence the waste is converted

into an excellent manure produced most economically .

ON GOING PROJECTS

The project 'SAHYOG' has been implemented in the institutions. The entire city including slums and rehabilitated areas will be covered.
