Introduction
Omega Systems has a product that can revolutionize and potentially even dominate the gaming industry. The main problem revolves around the fact that the company has internal manufacturing problems that caused them to miss a window of opportunity (Playstation, Nintendo, and Microsoft launched their products before Omega their products are direct substitutes) These problems stem from a lack of internal communication and synergy between the different departments.

Overview of the Status Quo


Multiple departments are pointing their fingers at the Hardware Design and Development (HDD) division. The HDD division claims that their lackluster performance was caused by an inefficient leader (VP of Research and Development), who was recently replaced. The delay in production caused the product to launch later than scheduled, which consequently caused the company to miss their opportunity window.

Competitors had a head start on the target market.

The company must be aware of how serious the problem is. The situation could possibly lead to the demise of the corporation. The consequences are serious we are all in danger of losing our jobs if we do not take action now. Do not be like the dinosaurs. If we do not adapt and evolve, we are doomed to become extinct. Learn from your mistakes and prepare for any obstacles that you may encounter.

Adopt a performance measurement mechanism (via an inter-department survey for performance ratings conducted monthly) Uphold weekly meetings between the department heads and the management personnel.
