A seed is a small embryonic, plant enclosed in a covering called the seed coat, usually with some stored food. It is the product of the ripened ovule of gymnosperm and angiosperm plants which occurs after fertilization and some growth within the mother plant. The formation of the seed completes the process of reproduction in seed plants, with the embryo developed from the zygote and the seed coat from the integuments of the ovule.

Rational of the study

I choose the dealers satisfaction as a topic for summer intern ship project. The dealers satisfaction of Navbharat seeds will give the idea about the whole distribution channel of the company.
To get the idea about the product from the customers is very difficult and we cant reach to the each customer or farmer to get the feedback about the product. So the prospective source for gathering the required information is the dealers of the product. With the help of the dealers or with medium of dealer they can reach to the each potential user of the product in the country. So ultimately the dealers satisfaction is important for the company or from them only they can get the right feedback about the products because the dealers are directly connected to the customers.

Introduction of Distributor
In marketing, distributor is the process of moving a product from its manufacturing source to its customers. In computer software, distributor is the phase that follows packaging. The package will be on some distribution medium, such as compact disc, or may be simply located on a server where customers can download it electronically. For open source software such as Linux, companies such as Red Hat and Debian specialize in packaging components from many sources together into a single package or set of packages that can be distributed conveniently to users as a single download. An open source distribution is often called a distro.
THE ROLE OF DISTRIBUTOR CHANNEL

Many producers lack the financial resources to carry out direct marketing. Producers who do establish their own chain can often earn a greater return by increasing investment in their main business. In some cases direct marketing simply is not feasible. Intermediaries normally acroughhieve superior efficiency in making good widely available and accessible to target markets.
