Advantages
Electric company benefits:
Smart automated processes instead of manual work. Customized rates and billing dates. Demand and distribution management.

Customer benefits:
Precise consumption information. Clear and accurate billing. Better and faster customer service.

Application
This system is not only used for Hi-Tech Energy Monitoring but with small changes we can use this system for gas, water billing etc. This is used at Power Plant to know total power generation & total power consumption. This is used in industries to have control of electricity of whole plant at a small place.

Conclusion
Automatic power reading using GSM network

Virtually full coverage of all housing and building areas

Reducing human operators effort and operation cost.
