3D Pipe Junction
In this workshop, we will import already created blocking on 3D Pipe geometry. After checking the quality of first mesh, we will create an Ogrid in the blocking to improve mesh quality. Save the blocking.

Set Working Directory

Training Manual

Set Working Directory File > Change Working Directory This will pop up a window. Select the directory 3DPipeJunct where initial project file has been saved.
It provides access to selected directory directly All output files will be saved in same folder until user change the location

Quality Check
Quality Check Select Blocking > Pre-Mesh Quality Histogram Select Quality in Criterion Click Apply Right click on Histogram and select Show. This will display the selected elements.

Select Split Block > OGrid block Select highlighted two Blocks and middle click to confirm. Select faces highlighted in blue color to end ogrid there. Middle click to confirm. Define Offset value Click Apply

Save Blocking

Save Blocking As Select File > Save Blocking As.. Instead of saving project file for each stage after few operation user can save blocking file only. Optimize the memory usage. Save modified blocking as 3DPipeJunct_ogrid.blk Click Save.
