-The amount of money UK spent on chocolate each year could eradicate poverty out of Africa -Nearly a billion people in the world are unable to read, write and sign their name

-military budgets of the whole world stands at $78 billion per year
Why do not people think of the poor? -About 25000 children dies everyday because of poverty

About 3 billion people live less than $2 a day 1.8 million die of diarrhea each year 1 billion children live in poverty 640 million has not enough shelter 400 million has no access to safe water 270 million has no access to health care every day Extreme poverty-less than $1 a day Moderate poverty- $ 1 to 2 a day
