Supurative inflamation
Disebabkan oleh pyogenic bacteria. Adanya Bacterial chemoatractant. Lesi bervariasi dari kecil (microabses ) sampai besar (difuse).
Necrotizing inflamation
Disebabkan oleh virus (HBV), sekresi toxin kuman (Clostridium perferingent), protozoa cytolysis (E. Hystolitica). Pada kasus yang berat tidak ditemukan inflamasi.
