Qualification of Board Members

Be a citizen and resident of the Philippines

At least 30 years old and with good moral character Be a graduate of civil engineering from a recognized and legally constituted school, college and university Registered civil engineer in the Philippines Practiced civil engineering with certificate for a minimum of 10 years. Not a member of faculty from any school where civil engineering is taught Unless he stop teaching for at least three consecutive years

Fees and Compensation of Board

The board for civil engineers shall charge for each application for examination the sum of 100 pesos payable to the collecting and disbursing officer of the PRC upon filing of the said application

And for each certificate of registration a sum of 50 pesos.

Each member of the board shall receive 50 pesos for each applicant examined.

Annual Report
The board shall at the end of each fiscal year, submit to the PRC a detailed report of its activities and proceedings during the period covered by the fiscal year ended.

All applicants for registration for the practice of civil engineering shall be required to pass a technical examination.

Examination of candidates desiring to practice civil engineering in the Philippines shall be given in the City of manila of each year, provided that such days do not fall on official holidays, otherwise the examination shall be held on the days next following

Seal and use of seal

All registered civil engineers shall obtain a seal of such design as the board shall authorized.

Serial number of certificate issued by the board shall be included in the design of seal. Plans and specifications prepared by, or under the direct supervision of a registered civil engineer shall be stamped with the seal during the life of the registrants certificate.
