Appropriate with students level of proficiency/ability.
Slightly higher in students level of difficulty than their

current level of proficiency. Increase students level of interest in learning. Have connection with the students previous knowledge.

Content-cultural, knowledge
Should be correct and recent/up-to-date/latest.
Should not be biased. Should reflect background cultures/way of life/custom

and tradition. Reflect the students background knowledge. Include visual aids to help students understand cultural information.

Clarity
Using appropriate font size.
Clear visual aids. Use appropriate examples during explanation.

Reviewing the resources.


Asking questions to find out if students understood.

Cost effectiveness
The teacher might need to spent money in order to

prepare the materials for the teaching and learning process. The materials should be worth to get so that it would not be a waste. The teacher must also consider the needs of using the materials. Use the materials that are not expensive yet very useful.

song is simple and up to the pupils proficiency level. There are many sight words and less new vocabulary. It helps pupils to understand easily and better. It helps to smoothen the teaching and learning process.

Pupils have a lot of fun when teacher uses

video clip of a song in the teaching and learning activities. Pupils interest should be checked before choosing the materials. Can create an interesting teaching and learning activities.

The content is suitable for their age. Pupils are familiar with the contents of the

song. They can relate the video with the message that is going to be delivered. Teacher should check the appropriateness of the content of the materials used. To expose the pupils with the world issues.

The video song can be downloaded from the

internet. Thus, it is easy for the teacher to access. The video song softcopy can be kept in a form of CD or hard disk. Reused for the next teaching.

Pupils are able to learn and concern about

the current issues. The pupils perception to the world. Develop pupils critical thinking. Effective to motivate the pupils to reflect on themselves and be thankful for what they have which is much better than other unlucky people.
