It does not mean to stop having

children nor preventing pregnancy through illegal practices of birth control, but rather, it is having children only when couple wants them in order to best take care of them.

For married couples - Is a preparation for responsible parenthood. - They will only have the number of children they can afford to support. For the father - Helps him to shoulder his responsibility well and let him assume his role of giving his children equal attention.

For the mother - Helps the mother maintain good health and gives her sufficient time between pregnancies to recover from the strain of childbirth. For the community, the country, and the world - Family planning can provide a selfsustaining community with peace and order and having less problems like juvenile delinquency.

The church is in accord with the government on the need for the family planning and responsible parenthood. A salutary feature of family planning is the freedom for ideal individual couples to make a choice of the method they will use for them so that the child will arrive at the time when it was most wanted.

The moral aspect of the family planning is rooted on the selfless intentions of the couple. The physical aspect of family planning, on the other hand, is the health condition of both the mother and the child. The spiritual aspect of the family planning is that there is sensitivity to the needs and conditions of the family, the community, and the country in w/c a small family can meet.

The economic aspect of the family

planning is based on the idea that a small family has lesser financial needs so it is easier to maintain. The mental and emotional aspect of the family planning is the love, care and education the children can get if the family is small. The parents will not have a hard time providing those to their children.
