Temperature
1. Light intensity
Light is essential during the light reaction of photosynthesis. Plants shows various adaptations to obtain the maximum amount of light.

2. Concentration of CO2
Carbon dioxide is required in dark reaction as the raw materials used in the synthesis of glucose. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere varies between 0.03% to 0.04%. In places where the density of plants is high, competition of CO2 arises and will affect the rate of photosynthesis.

3. Temperature
The dark reaction of photosynthesis is catalyzed by enzymes. Changes in temperature will affect the rate of photosynthesis. An increase of 10C in the surrounding will double the rate of photosynthesis. When the temperature is too high, the photosynthetic enzymes will destroy.
